Job Description:
Position Overview: The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement activities for our electronics products. This role requires strategic planning, supplier relationship management, and a keen understanding of market trends to optimize purchasing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in the procurement process.
- Supplier Management:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance.
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supply of materials to meet production demands.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about market trends, price fluctuations, and emerging suppliers.
- Analyze market conditions and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Cost Control:
- Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
- Monitor and report on procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Work closely with the quality control team to ensure materials meet required specifications.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPSM, CPIM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the electronics industry.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations and cost management.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
Skill:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, SAP, Oracle).
